The Village of Riverdale would like to thank our Veterans for serving our country & protecting our freedoms!

On Monday November 12, 2019 The Village of Riverdale hosted its annual Veterans Day Breakfast/Luncheon at the Riverdale-Fire-Rescue Department’s Bay Area, honoring Veterans in our community. The event was sponsored by Mayor Lawrence L. Jackson, Clerk Karen Holcomb & Village Trustees.

Guests were welcomed by Fire Chief Mick Smith, who later introduced David Brown from the Veterans Outreach Program, Sandra Wells from Neighborhood Housing Services and a Trustee Erik LeVere with special acknowledgement.

Mayor Lawrence L. Jackson closed out the program thanking residents and acknowledging Veterans with Certificates of Appreciation for their service. The program followed with breakfast served by Village Staff. On behalf of Mayor Jackson, Board of Trustees, and Riverdale staff we’d like to thank everyone for joining us yesterday in honoring our Veterans. We honor all that have served. Thank you for your service, and sacrifice.
