Hospitals within this system include Ingalls Hospital, South Suburban Hospital, and St. James Hospital. South of Cook County is apart of the Region 7 Medical Region, and Christ Hospital is a Level One Trauma Center. We maintain the highest level of preparedness for rapid treatment of traumatic injuries and other life-threatening medical emergencies.

The Riverdale Fire Department is a non-transport BLS Service provider. All transports to local hospital are done by Bud’s Ambulance. Bud’s ambulance provides Advance Life Support treatment and transport for our citizens.
