The Riverdale Fire Department provides many services to the residents of the Village, including fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous materials incident mitigation, fire prevention, public education and fire investigation. In addition to protecting property and residents within the Village, the Fire Department also assists other communities in MABAS 24 and 22. These mutual aid agreements ensure the top level of service throughout the entire southland and surrounding Municipalities.
